"The Buck" is the newest addition in the "Woodland Animal Series" I learn something new with every painting. Did you know the Whitetail Deer are the smallest member of the North American deer family and few live more than 5 years in the wild. I have an affection for the Whitetail Deer, for many years living in "The Great Swamp" NJ, my Mom's backyard teamed with small family groups that graved throughout the year.
