I painted this in a wonderful group class, it's a demonstration exercise of a Philip Jamison piece.
I changed some colors and straightened the pole, unintentionally.  I think I'll frame it.

Flurries fell this morning, appropriate for late Nov. here in New England. With Thanksgiving in 3 days, I pause and reflect on all I am thankful for, my God, family, church, friends, country, good health and my art. In keeping with the season, a pumpkin kind.

My daily bread:
Sunday always feels like the end of the week to me, when in reality it is the first day of a brand new week. Whether it be a new day or new week, like this blog, I am new at this blogging and hope I can mange to have something creative to blog. Now, on to uploading a picture.

"In Nana's window"(watercolor on aquaboard 6x6)  $120.00
This little glass piece belonged to my Nana, I remember visiting her home in Texas as a child and looking at all of the unique and interesting treasures she had displayed on her kitchen windowsill.

Have a blessed new week and be Thankful! I am.
